On Thursday 23 October at 6pm, a new themed tour will take us in the footsteps of medieval pilgrims!

We will meet wayfarers, poets, popes, penitents and murderers, travellers heading to Jerusalem, Rome and Santiago, but also to alternative and local destinations.

We will discover travel diaries, devotions and legends, travelling statues, special blessings and stolen relics.  We will walk along paths that have contributed to shaping European geography, culture and society over the centuries. Cloak, staff and satchel in hand: a journey through history awaits us!   

The tour will be accompanied by a selection of manuscripts and printed books that will be on display up close, some of which will be exhibited from 30 October in the new temporary exhibition of the same name.

The initiative is part of the joint experience “Regenerated in Hope”, organised by the MAB - Diocese of Triveneto project on the occasion of the 2025 Jubilee.
