Every month we organise the ‘Walk with the Prefect’, our best-selling event. A special visit in which Monsignor Bruno Fasani, Prefect of the Capitolare, will be the charismatic guide who will take you on an exciting journey to discover the millennial history of the Capitolare and of the city of Verona.
The Walk provides access to some additional areas to the standard tours: the church of Sant'Elena - with evidence of the origins of Christianity in Verona and the later presence of Dante - and the underground area of the library, with traces of the Roman trading post. It also includes access to the impressive Cloister of the Canons and the splendid monumental 'Archdeacon Pacific' hall, where some magnificent manuscripts and original printed texts can be admired up close.
