Those who have gone before us have been able to preserve an enormous cultural heritage for more than 1600 years. The geographical and historical-political position has transformed the Scriptorium of Verona into a complex centre of late Roman, Gothic, Christian and Renaissance culture; in other words, an essential node of the western roots of human knowledge. The Foundation's aim is to create the conditions for this heritage to continue to enrich Humanity 'for at least the next 1600 years'.
