EVENTI

The meetings of the cycle "Parliamone. In Dialogue with the Present" continue with a new event, organised by the Fondazione Biblioteca Capitolare di Verona in collaboration with the AbilityArt association, scheduled for Friday 19 April at 6 pm.

The guests of this meeting, entitled "'Skillful Art. Differently" will be Simona Atzori and Annalisa Paganini, painters, and Simone Carcereri, AbilityArt communication manager, in dialogue with Msgr. Bruno Fasani, President of the FBC, journalist and columnist.

The AbilityArt association, founded in 1956, now counts 1,000 artists worldwide who create art without the use of their hands due to congenital or traumatic disabilities. In Verona, it has a sales outlet in the city centre and a production facility that distributes artistic reproductions taken from the originals painted by painters throughout the country. This mission enables the creation of scholarships and new professionalism through the dissemination of beauty beyond all barriers.

Simona Atzori, foot painter and dancer, has been a member of the association since the age of 8 and is a global example of determination, courage and confidence in one's own means: she will speak about her own artistic journey within the association and her own existential journey among the arts. Annalisa Paganini, mouth painter, is an accomplished artist in the use of watercolours. The disease from which she suffers, multiple sclerosis, has never prevented her from discovering new worlds and exploring them through the use of the brush, colours and thanks to the support of people who recognise her artistic value.

Admission free on reservation, subject to availability.
